Live on the Lawns

A fortnightly series of outdoor lunch time concerts in the CBD featuring local and indie artists mainly performing their own material. This fortnight's installment brings the intriguing sounds of Damperman to the lawns outside MusicNT's office on Parsons St. 

The band have this to say about themselves and their music:

"In Mparntwe on Arrernte Country the Damperman was born. We pay our respects to Elders past and present. Telling healing stories of love, loss and life. 

The ingredients are simple. Flour, water, milk, salt and golden syrup to taste. No artificial colours or flavours.

The Damperman is not what you want. It's what you knead."
