Queer Writes: Writing Workshop

Write, share and celebrate queer stories in a 2 hour writing workshop.

Queer Writes has been running on Larrakia country since 2022. Each session runs for up to two hours and consists of a variety of writing prompts, designed to elicit diverse, joyful and sometimes sad stories. A relaxed, welcoming space for folk who like to write but maybe don’t do it enough.

About the facilitator

Clare is a born and bred Territorian, a queer mum, lover, friend and writer. She writes about the realities of life in the NT with warmth, humour and heartbreaking honesty, always with the hope of creating connection with others. She is delighted to bring this workshop to the beautiful country of Mparntwe and grateful to be here.
