Join Ampe-Kenhe Ahelhe (Children's Ground Central Australia) to celebrate the launch of the In My Blood It Runs book, authored by Dujuan Hoosan, Margaret Anderson, and Carol Turner and illustrated by Blak Douglas.

Following a Welcome to Country by Felicity Hayes, you will hear from:
- Dujuan, Carol and Margie (Authors)
- Blak Douglas (Illustrator)
- Children’s Ground Leaders
- William Tilmouth (Children's Ground chair)

Schedule:
4-5pm - Children's Cloud Painting workshop with Blak Douglas
5pm - Speeches, Arrernte dancing, and cake
6pm - Book signing with the authors
6pm - Dinner
6:30pm - Close

The evening alongside the book is a celebration in memory of the late Dr MK Turner OAM and A. Perrurle Abbott. The book beautifully follows on from the original documentary, which followed Dujuan Hoosan, a 10-year-old Arrernte/Garrwa boy and his struggle in a mainstream education system that does not value his First Nations culture, language and history.

The In My Blood It Runs picture book can be purchased at the event, online, and at Red Kangaroo books.
