Join us for a hands-on introduction to the art of fermentation! In this workshop, you’ll learn the basics of preserving food through fermentation, the science behind the process, and how to make your own probiotic-rich creations at home. Whether you’re new to fermentation or looking to refine your skills, this session will cover essential techniques, ingredients, and troubleshooting tips.

Come prepared to get your hands dirty and leave with the confidence to start fermenting at home!

This series of workshops is a collaboration between Arid Land and Environment Centre, Alice Springs Community Gardens (West and East Side) and Alice Springs Town Council.
