| Sunday 29 September 2024 | Walkers will start from the Y at 6:30am, followed by runners at 7:00am. Base climb will be open from 7:00am. |
King of the Mountain is a family friendly run event we have been running for over 40 years. After a few years hiatus, the event will be back on September 29th to take you to the Heights.
With two different competitive categories (running/ walking), participants will start from the Y and will finish at the top of mount Gillen where they will be able to contemplate astonishing views of the town while enjoying a free breakfast. Alternatively, if you do not wish to do the whole run/walk, you can do the base climb only.
