On-the-run, a traumatised boy-soldier, Haki, 15, is captured by Māori resistance forces preparing a last desperate stand against the British Imperial Army. Haki’s life is forfeit until Kōpū, 15, a girl-medium of a war god, saves him.

Araluen Arts Centre are celebrating the release of the movie Ka Whawhai Tonu, with a “Dinner and show” Book your ticket for a Hangi meal by TQAS Catering, including:

The Hangi will be served from 5pm on Sunday 1 September in the Araluen Foyer, with the Movie beginning at 6:30 pm.

Tickets are only $50 for the dinner and movie! Can’t make it to both? Tickets for the special screening are only $15 each with the Hangi meal only $35.
