Eugene Chadbourne is a genuine legend of American music. Mixing Country & Western songs, virtuoso guitar and banjo improvisations, wild noise emanating from his amplified garden rake, and various ‘takes’ on popular culture, this musician is a one man entertainment. He first came to prominence in the radical downtown New York scene of the 1970s and, since then, has toured the world to popular acclaim with his own brand of serious humour and endearing anarchy. Don’t miss him!
This concert takes place at 2 Crispe Street, Ciccone, Alice Springs (and not at our usual venue). We thank Michael and Cecilia for hosting the gig. Please register at the normal email for reservations. Entrance is free, but donations between $20-$50 are encouraged (to pay the musical guests; we don’t take anything ourselves).
