Writing Identity and Difference

Explore and unpack the ethics of representation in writing in this online masterclass with Wiradjuri writer, poet and academic Jeanine Leane.

This workshop will guide writers to explore critical questions about writing, intersectionality and their own work. Discuss what is at stake when writing ‘otherness’ and explore these crucial themes through a facilitated writing activity. Writers will leave the workshop with a deeper understanding of positionality with which to refine and revitalise their practice.

This workshop is well suited to creatives at all stages of their careers with an established writing practice. It is capped at 10 places to ensure learning and sharing can happen within a small group.
