Wangka Walytja: The Life and Times of the Papunya Literature Production Centre
Celebrate the launch of this exhibition at 8Hele, showcasing the rich illustrated literature created at the Papunya Literature Production Centre between 1978–1990. Wangka Walytja (“one’s own language, story, or family”) reflects the vision to preserve and share knowledge, culture, and language through words and images.
The program includes an exhibition tour with Kulata Dennis Nelson Tjakamarra and a panel conversation with artists from Papunya Tjupi Arts and the curatorial team.
