The Travelling Film Festival returns to Alice Springs Cinema, showcasing some of the year’s hottest Oscar contenders and international festival standouts.
Audiences will be the first in Australia to see Jim Jarmusch’s Father Mother Sister Brother - fresh from its major win at the Venice Film Festival - having it's Australian Premiere as part of the Northern Territory Tour.
Leading the lineup are two frontrunners in the awards race: Richard Linklater’s sharp and effervescent Blue Moon and Joachim Trier’s deeply moving Sentimental Value, both widely tipped as major Oscar hopefuls for 2026.
One of the country’s most beloved new documentaries, The Golden Spurtle. Director Constantine Costi will personally present the screening and join audiences for a Q&A - complete with porridge‑making insights straight from the World Porridge Championships.
With acclaimed features, global discoveries, and a celebration of Australian talent, the TFF offers four days of exceptional cinema in the heart of the Territory.
