Writing Workshop - Story in Six Weeks with Mary Anne Butler

Develop a story in six weeks. Hone writing craft. Suitable for all genres.

This engaging online workshop series with award-winning author Mary Anne Butler supports participants to produce a solid narrative map from which to complete their longer form work such as a novel, novella, memoir, poetry / short story collection, screenplay or stage play. This course is also appropriate to help support the planning and development of creative non-fiction genres. Sessions will cover essential skills of the craft including character, voice, theme, narrative stakes, plot, structure, dialogue and nailing down a central question to guide you through the work.

Workshops will take place online via Zoom every Saturday 1pm-4pm (ACST) from 1 Nov to 6 Dec 2025.
