Lauren Navarro, a determined American marketing executive, travels to Tuscany to revitalise the struggling Russo Pasta Sauce brand.
Her plan to feature Francesca Russo, the family heir, as the face of the campaign falters when Francesca rejects any connection to the mass produced sauce.
Undeterred, Lauren immerses herself in the authentic Italian culinary world by working with Mason, the handsome but initially resistant former commercial chef at the family Trattoria.
Despite early clashes, a connection grows as they navigate tradition versus modern marketing, leading Lauren to fight not only for the brand but for a legacy and an unexpected romance.
