Classical harpist and vocalist Sally Westaway and rapper Dan the Underdog have been invited to perform their powerful fusion of classical and hip hop at the iconic Sydney Opera House named Stories That Stir.
This is a rare chance to showcase Alice Springs creativity on the national stage — and they don’t want to miss it. To help make the journey possible, Sally and Dan are hosting a fundraiser afternoon on Saturday, August 30, from 1–4pm at Epilogue Lounge.
Entry is by donation (suggested $20, but every contribution is welcome) and will feature performances from Alice Kings, a group of local primary school rappers, Hip Hop artist D-Day (Darcy Davis), internationally acclaimed opera singer Rejieli Paulo, Singer / Songwriter Alison Mapleson, musician Penny Elsley and her violinist son Wilbur, DJ Gram/Boney (Graham Wilfred Jnr), and a special performance from the Desert Diamonds.
Join us for an afternoon of music, connection and community support as we help bring Alice Springs’ voices to the Opera House.
