Join us for a special edition of Music and Movement these School Holidays with the Jingili Song Project!

Led by Indigenous singer-songwriter Stuart Joel Nuggett and supported by the dynamic country rock band, David Garnham & the Reasons to Live, the Jingili Song Project combines music and cultural preservation in an effort to breathe new life into the language spoken by fewer than ten people.

Stuart Joel Nuggett is a Jingili man and songwriter from Kulumindini (Elliott), having been based here in Mpartnwe/Alice Springs for years now. Stu sings in both English and the severely endangered language of Jingulu. Under the title of the Jingili Song Project, he continues to run workshops teaching and writing songs in language, both nationally and in the Northern Territory.

Come and learn a song in Jingulu written by Stu and his mum Janet - complete with hand actions!
