Glimpses of Heaven is a darkly comic piece of solo theatre about growing up around fame and addiction.
As Hannah packs up her mother’s apartment, photographs, music and objects bring memories of her childhood back to life - moments of humour, chaos and absurdity.
A story about a brilliant but troubled musician and her daughter, the play explores a love that survives the ugliness of addiction, while recognising that a person is not defined by their disease.
With music and dance woven throughout, Glimpses of Heaven is playful and alive - reflecting the fleeting moments of joy that exist even in life’s darkest chapters.
After a successful premiere of the show at the Melbourne Fringe, the team is excited to bring it home to the Totem Theatre.
