Copyright & First Nations Art webinar!
To celebrate National Reconciliation Week, the Australian Copyright Council is delighted to present its annual Copyright & First Nations Art webinar on Tuesday 2 June 2026 at 1-2pm AEST.
Facilitated by Australian Copyright Council CEO, Eileen Camilleri and presented by Australian Copyright Council Senior Lawyer, Eleny Tzioumis, this one-hour session explores copyright law as it relates to First Nations Art. We look at issues including:
- general copyright principles as they apply to First Nations art
- the moral rights of creators
- things to consider for those wishing to use First Nations art.
We will also touch briefly on Indigenous Cultural and Intellectual Property (ICIP) issues.
