Live Music
Balaclava Peace Collective play conscious desert soundscapes rooted in the classic genres of blues, rock, reggae and folk. With a fusion of styles, BPC, write and play original songs imbedded in a First Nations experience of life. Touching on themes such as love of Country, culture and humanity, politics, and spiritual prosperity, the band express their songs in both Arrernte and English.
Formed in late 2025, BPC are a collective of local men with a shared love of music and collaboration. With a rebellious undertone in their lyrics, BPC protest against the oppressive forces of the ‘establishment’ whilst paradoxically living by the philosophy of Peace. Hailing from Mparntwe in the Central desert, the Balaclava Peace Collective are fresh, soulful and have something poignant to say.
Featuring Shaun Angeles, Dion Forrester, Dale Egan and James Windwood
