This workshop, facilitated by local gardening legend Geoff Miers, will cover identifying a range of common pests, diseases, and disorders that affect gardens in Central Australia. Geoff will guide participants through effective methods for treating these plant issues, using a combination of cultural, biological, and chemical approaches.
All methods featured will be certified organic.

This workshop is part of the 'Food Security in an Arid Environment' series, brought to you by the Arid Lands Environment Centre, the Alice Springs Community Gardens (West & East Sides), and Alice Springs Town Council.
Freshly made barista coffee and cake will be available from 9-11am at the Harvest Café- a pop-up café located at the Community Gardens and run by dedicated community garden volunteers.
