Join the Alice Chamber Orchestra and Duprada Dance Company over two evenings.
Duprada Dance Company’s Summer Season promises an extraordinary experience, featuring the enchanting live music of The Alice Chamber Orchestra playing for the dancers. The audience will be immersed in the ‘best of the best’ famous excerpts of classical and neo-classical ballets showcasing the brilliance of choreographers, musicians and dancers who have a certain je ne sais quoi and are ‘stars’ in their own right.
Our Artist-in-Residence, Miriam Nicholls will premiere her new contemporary work ‘Red Centre Suite’ - an inspired work choreographed to world renowned composer Elena Kats-Chernin’s music of the same name. Inspired by our red centre, Elena composed the Red Centre Suite and later visited Alice Springs to work with the Alice Chamber Orchestra. The orchestra is conducted by Markus Kukkenbuch.
