Tapatjatjaka Art & Craft is seeking a manager for its art centre at Titjikala, N.T., a small, friendly, welcoming community 107 km south of Alice Springs.
Our art centre is a place where community members practice their art, meet, share stories and with, the help of the manager, address the many issues confronting Aboriginal people in their community.
Since incorporating in 2008, Tapatjatjaka Art has operated successfully, producing a modest profit each year. We participate in exhibitions such as Desert Mob, and sell on-line as well as at our studio.
The position offers an attractive salary ($90,000 p.a. + super), and includes rent-free accommodation in a modern, air-conditioned 3-bedroom house, just a short distance from the art centre. A car is provided for business use as well as for necessary trips to Alice Springs.
