Call for Entries: Advocate Art Award 2025

The Advocate Art Award returns for 2025! 

Coordinated and presented by the Central Australian Art Society (CAAS), a volunteer-run organisation in Alice Springs that has supported art and artists since 1963, the Advocate Art Award is their gala annual event, offering a number of significant prizes thanks to the generous sponsorship of local businesses, including the major non-acquisitive Chapman & Bailey Excellence Prize of $2500.

With no pre-selection process, the Advocate Art Award is an all-inclusive exhibition, much-loved by the Alice Spring community, bringing together works by artists new, emerging and established, working across any medium.

Entries can be in any medium. Entry details can be found on our website. The exhibition will run from Aug 1st-17th.

Prizes

People’s Choice Prize – sponsored by Yeperenye Shopping Centre - $1,500, for a winner chosen by popular vote of the public

The ‘Jacksons Drawing Supplies’ Encouragement Prize of $400 worth of art materials awarded to a first time exhibitor.

The ‘Framed in Alice’ Highly Commended Prize of $750 worth of framing.
