Applications now open for Arts NT Register of Peers.
Are you a practising artist or arts worker in the Northern Territory with strong knowledge of the sector? Arts NT is inviting applications for the Register of Peers - a panel of paid professionals who contribute to the fair and informed assessment of arts grant applications and provide advice on programs and policy.
We are seeking applications from individuals across all art forms and Territory regions who can offer their expertise as part of assessment panels and working groups. Peers are appointed by the Minister for Arts for a three-year term and may be called upon to assess funding applications and provide recommendations to government. All peers are paid for their time, with sitting fees and travel expenses covered in accordance with NT Government policy.
We strongly encourage applications from:
• Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander artists and arts workers
• Young artists and arts workers (aged 18-25)
• Artists and arts workers with disability
• Those based in remote communities
