Deadline extended! 2025 Youth Recycled Arts Prize

Deadline extended to March 31st!

The 2025 Youth Recycled Arts Prize is a free youth arts competition that encourages creative people aged 12 to 25 with the ability to gather materials and use waste, and convert them into a piece of art.

Sponsored by the Northern Territory Government (NTG) and the Alice Springs Town Council (ASTC), the Youth Recycled Arts Prize recognises the best creative art works and gives young people an opportunity for their work to be publicly exhibited and judged in a series of categories including 12-14yrs, 15-18 yrs, 18 and over plus, a ‘people’s choice’ award. The people’s choice award is determined on the most popular voted art piece across all age groups.

Participants will have limited free access to a range of recycled materials from the ASTC Rediscovery Centre to help build the creative juices and offer materials to support their artistic works!

So, this is a call out to all our budding young artists and creative sparks alike, to get involved and register for the exciting 2025 Youth Recycled Arts Prize. It also presents the opportunity to have the work exhibited, judged and awarded a prize.
